2 Samuel 22:2 (The Scriptures–1998) And he said, “יהוה is my rock and my stronghold and my deliverer. 3 “My Elohim is my rock, I take refuge in Him, My shield and the horn of my deliverance, My high tower and my refuge. Isaiah 25:1 (The Scriptures–1998) O יהוה, You are my Elohim. I exalt You, I praise Your Name, for You shall do a wonder – counsels of long ago, trustworthiness, truth. 2 For You shall make a city a heap, a walled city a ruin, a palace of foreigners to be a city no more – never to be rebuilt. 3 Therefore a strong people praise You, the city of the ruthless nations fear You. 4 For You shall be a refuge to the poor, a refuge to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm, a shade from the heat. For the spirit of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall. 5 You subdue the noise of foreigners, as heat in a dry place; as heat in the shadow of a cloud, the singing of the ruthless is subdued. 6 And in this mountain יהוה of hosts shall make for all people a feast of choice pieces, a feast of old wines, of choice pieces with marrow, of old wines, well-refined. 7 And He shall swallow up on this mountain the surface of the covering which covers all people, and the veil which is spread over all nations. 8 He shall swallow up death forever, and the Master יהוה shall wipe away tears from all faces, and take away the reproach of His people from all the earth. For יהוה has spoken. 9 And it shall be said in that day, “See, this is our Elohim. We have waited for Him, and He saves us. This is יהוה, we have waited for Him, let us be glad and rejoice in His deliverance.” 10 For the hand of יהוה rests on this mountain, and Mo’aḇ is trodden down under Him, as straw is trodden down in the water of a dunghill. 11 And He shall spread out His hands in their midst as he who swims spreads out his hands to swim, and He shall bring down their pride together, with the skill of His hands. 12 And the high stronghold of your walls He shall bring down, lay it low, levelled to the ground, down to the dust.
Psalms 50:15 (The Scriptures–1998) “And call upon Me in the day of distress – Let Me rescue you, and you esteem Me.”
Romans 7:22 (AENT) For I rejoice in the Torah of Elohim, in the inner man. 23 But I see another instruction in my members, which wars against the instruction of my conscience and makes me a captive to the instruction of sin which exists in my members. 24 O, a miserable man, am I! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 25 I thank Elohim by means of our Master Y'shua the Mashiyach (I will be rescued.) Now, therefore, in my conscience, I am a servant of the Torah of Elohim; but in my flesh, I am a servant of the instruction of sin. 46
Romans 12:1 (AENT) I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies a living offering – set-apart, well-pleasing to Elohim – your reasonable worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what is that good and well-pleasing and perfect desire of Elohim.

Psalms 40:9 (The Scriptures–1998) I have proclaimed the good news of righteousness, In the great assembly; See, I do not restrain my lips, O יהוה, You know. 10 I did not conceal Your righteousness within my heart; I have declared Your trustworthiness and Your deliverance; I did not hide Your kindness and Your truth From the great assembly. 11 Do not withhold Your compassion from me, O יהוה; Let Your kindness and Your truth always watch over me. 12 For evils without number have surrounded me; My crookednesses have overtaken me, And I have been unable to see; They became more than the hairs of my head; And my heart has failed me. 13 Be pleased, O יהוה, to deliver me; O יהוה, hasten to help me!
