B.I.B.L.E. - Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth

I apologize for what some may consider a lengthy introduction, but I believe people need to understand my background and we also need to have a firm foundation in the Bible and faith.

Matthew 7:24 (AENT) Anyone, therefore, who hears my words, these, and does them, will be likened to a wise man who built his house upon a stone

Proverbs 3:5 (The Scriptures–1998) Trust in יהוה with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 Know Him in all your ways, And He makes all your paths straight.

We need to believe as the Hebrews of that time, which was to believe enough to apply this ‘knowledge’ into your life and not just to have a ‘head’ knowledge or one who believes in Gnosticism (i.e. salvation by knowledge). I believe everybody wants to think good of themselves so it is very easy to call ourselves a ‘believer’ but Paul says to ‘examine ourselves’ and see if we truly are in the faith.

Jas 1:22 (AENT) But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only; and do not deceive yourselves. 23 For if any man will be a hearer of the Word and not a doer of it, he will be like one who sees his face in a mirror: 24 for he sees himself and passes on and forgets what a man he was. 25 But everyone that looks upon the perfect Torah of liberty and lives fully in it, is not a hearer of something to be forgotten, but a doer of the things; and he will be blessed in his work

2 Corinthians 13:5 (AENT) Examine yourselves, whether you stand in the faith: prove yourselves. Don't you acknowledge that Y'shua the Mashiyach is in you? And if he is not, you are despised and against Torah.

James 2:17 (AENT) So also faith alone, without works, is dead. 18 For a man may say, you have faith and I have works; show to me your faith that is without works and I will show to you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one Elohim; you do well; the demons also believe and tremble. 20 Would you know, O weak man, that faith without works is dead?

Proverbs 20:27 (The Scriptures–1998) The spirit of a man is the lamp of יהוה, Searching all his inmost parts.

Jeremiah 17:9 (The Scriptures–1998) “The heart is crooked above all, and desperately sick – who shall know it? 10 “I, יהוה, search the heart, I try the kidneys, and give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.

I believe that in many churches today an unbalanced understanding of the word ‘Grace’ is presented. Yes I believe Grace means ‘mercy’ but I also believe it means ‘empowerment’ to do the things that we could not do without the Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit). I do not believe that Yeshua was so filled with sin that He needed Grace but rather He had Grace to empower Him to do what the Father was showing Him.

John 1:14 (AENT) And the Miltha became flesh and dwelt among us and we saw his glory, the glory as the Only-Begotten who is from the Father who is full of grace and truth.

John 5:19 (AENT) But Y'shua answered and said to them, "Amen, amen I say to you that the Son is not able to do anything by his desire, but what he sees the things that the Father does.  For these things that the Father does, the Son also likewise does. 20 For the Father loves the Son and everything that he does he shows to him.  And greater than these works He will show him so that you will marvel.”

John 8:28 (AENT) Y'shua again said to them, "When you lift up the Son of man, then you will know that I am, and I don't do a thing from my own will but as my Father has taught me.  Likewise that I speak.”

So my tendency is to use Bible verses for Healing and Sanctification as His words are more powerful than mine. I once heard a spouse joke about a spouse saying to a friend “The wisest things that my spouse says always begins with ‘well the Bible says…..’”. How true. This is what the world needs today.
