Peace & Relationship - With Him & With Others

Please understand I am not trying to get people to follow a man-made religion but rather to be disciples of YHWH and His Word.

Mark 7:5 (AENT) The scribes and the Pharisees asked him.  "Why don't your disciples walk according to the traditions of the elders?  But while they eat bread their hands are not washed!" 6 And he said to them, "Yesha'yahu the prophet did well prophesy about you hypocrites!  As it is written that, 'This people honor me with their lips.  But their hearts are very distant from me. 7 And vainly they fear me while they are teaching the doctrines of the commandments of the sons of men.' 8 For you have left the Commandment of Elohim, and you have embraced the tradition of the sons of men: the washing of cups and of pots and many others that are like these." 9 He said to them, "You well rejected the Commandment of Elohim that you might establish your tradition.”

Colossians 2:8 (AENT) Beware, or else any man make you naked by philosophy and by vain deception, according to the doctrines of men, according to the rudiments of the world, and not according to the Mashiyach.

The truth is that I need you as much as you need me. We need each other. There are blessings and a gift that every disciple has that if they are not operating in their ‘calling’ then the ‘Body’ loses out. I try to help remove the burdens that hold people down so they are set free and can serve Him and His people.

Matthew 11:28 (AENT) Come to me all who labor and bear burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Bear my yoke upon you and learn from me.  That I am tranquil and I am meek, and in my heart you will find tranquility in your souls. 30 For my yoke is pleasant and my burden is light."

1 Corinthians 12:13 (AENT) For indeed by one Spirit we were all immersed into one body, whether Yehuḏim or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For indeed the body is not one member but many. 15 If the foot says, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” does it therefore not belong to the body? 16 And if the ear says, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” does it therefore not belong to the body? 17 If all the body was an eye, where would be the hearing? If all hearing, where would be the smelling? 18 But now Elohim has set the members, each one of them, in the body, even as He pleased. 19 And if they all had been one member, where would the body be? 20 And now, there are indeed many members, but one body. 21 And an eye is unable to say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” or again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”

1 Corinthians 12:26 (AENT) So that, when one member is in pain, they will all sympathize; and if one member is exalted, all the members will be exalted.

The truth is that we are to seek His ways which are synonymous with seeking Peace.

Psalm 34:14 (The Scriptures–1998) Turn away from evil and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it.

1 Peter 3:10 (AENT) Therefore, whoever chooses life and desires to see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips that they speak no deceit; 11 let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and follow after it. 12 Because the eyes of Master YHWH are upon the righteous, and his ears (await) to hear them: but the face of Master YHWH is against the wicked.

Numbers 6:24 (The Scriptures–1998) “יהוה bless you and guard you; 25  יהוה make His face shine upon you, and show favour to you; 26  יהוה lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.” ’

Notice that the word here for peace is actually Shalom. As is the case with many Hebrew and Aramaic words, when translated, a single English word most often does not give justice to the original word as there are a many-words-to-one ratio unlike Greek which has a one-to-one word ratio. So if we look at Strong’s Concordance we will see that YHWH’s Shalom is more than just peace. Shalom also includes health & prosperity!
