L.O.S.T.
I know the name sounds funny but hear me out. We are all trying to find our way. How do the 'Amazing Grace' song lyrics go again "I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see." But the bigger truth is that we are still trying to find our way as nobody knows everything. We should all be learning from each other respectfully. I learn from my clients all the time and please don't think that I have it all figured out either. This biblical discipleship walk is a lifelong adventure.
So for those that are willing to share and learn from one another I've created what I call the:
'Laboratory of Spirit & Truth" (L.O.S.T.)
Membership is by invite only as I want this to be a safe space.
If I don't or haven't know you personally you're not going to get invited.
I understand that we may not all agree on many topics and let's be honest working in the spirit can be grey/fuzzy many times as we realize there are many different ways to understand or interpret scripture. For example, I keep the Torah but not all of my clients do and that's fine. I don't push my beliefs on anybody but if they ask me I'll gladly share what I believe. I also may (nicely) challenge other people's beliefs introducing other ideas (Proverbs 27:17). I pray that we are all growing in our biblical understanding while remaining respectful.
So I've created different groups/areas for us to discuss various topics which should help people stay on-topic You can join the groups/areas that you'd like to. While I encourage people to share I also warn people from sharing too much as sometimes being overly-descriptive with your challenges can be triggering.
